THERE IS ALOT TO DO ON ST. CROIX
You can find all the golfing you could want in Paradise.
St Croix Golfing Map
We have three wonderful courses to play on. Golfers are die hards and want to golf no matter what the weather or location. Take a trip and they want to get in a game of golf.
St Croix Golf offers:
1. ) Carambola – 18 hole course (par 72) Pro Shop
Carambola was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and built in 1966 by Laurance Rockefeller. The LPGA Konica Golf Classic is held here annually. This is a challenging course. Joe, who visits St. Croix a several times a year, finds this course more difficult and longer than the Buccaneer. He claims that it is a St Croix Golf Course masterpiece. It has 18 beautiful holes carved out of the edge of the rain forest. Truly beautiful views of the ocean, hills, valleys and rain forest.
2.) Buccaneer – 18 hole course (par 70) Pro Shop
Buccaneer Golf Course designed by Bob Joyce in 1973. This is our friend Joe's favorite course. He feels it is a very challenging and interesting course running along the coast with fantastic views of the beautiful sea, Buck island, and downtown Christiansted. There are at least 12 holes that have magnificent views of the of the water the rest are of rolling hills and multi million dollar homes. The course has a variety of holes.
Oh! An unexptected guest!
3.) Reef – 9 hole course (par 35) Pro Shop
This is a fun little course. You can play the eastern most golf course in the U.S. . They have pop and beer you can purchase and a cooler to put in the cart. You can just view the ocean and drive the cart if golf is not your thing. Last year I got to drive a hot pink golf cart they had. Named it the "Barbie Golf Cart". So Barbie got to golf in paradise! After a fun game go to Duggan's Reef for a bite to eat. It is just across the road.
Hey don't laugh. I had fun! I even got a birdie on the 7th hole. Ken took a picture of it to prove I didn't kill the poor bird.
