On the drive to to this eastern most point you will pass several East End Beaches. Also gorgeous views and areas to pull over and take pictures or a short hike. The following picture was taken from a parking area where you can hike down to the shore.
This end of the Island is certainly different from the rain forest on the West End. Just see those cactus and how it is getting rocky.
This trip is an adventure in itself. Your camera will be kept busy with all the picture perfect views.

The eastern most point of the U.S.A. lets you view both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It is water for as far as the eye can see. You can even see the curvature of the earth here.
To the left is the Atlantic and to the right is the Caribbean Sea. Point Udall has a terrific view of both.
The trip to Point Udall is worth every minute. A day in the United States first begins here at Point Udall.
Time to head back. There is so much more to see and do on the Island of St. Croix.

RELAX – LIFE’S A BEACH
Northshore Beaches: Some have smooth sandy bottoms ideal for swimming, and others have rock and coral-lined entries perfect for snorkeling! Many beaches on St. Croix are continuous with other beaches having a different name.
Southside Beaches:The south shore is dotted with so many little beaches that you just happen onto, that is highly unlikely that we have found them all.
East End Beaches : There are many beaches East of Christiansted on St. Croix . Some are a bit harder to get to but usually not as crowded.
West End Beaches : St. Croix offers a large number of beaches and water activities. Try a few for a fun and memorable vacation. All of the beaches in the US Virgin Islands are accessible to the public.
