Frederiksted pictures look new as it has been renovated.

Frederiksted pictures include a new pier and a lot of polishing and painting of the old. Lots of new brick walkways and landscaping have been added.

Tranquil at the moment.

Fort Frederik is just past the pier.

Fort Frederik is undergoing some restoration. There is a student apprenticeship exchange with Denmark for those interested in masonry and restoration. They have worked on restoration of the fort in Frederiksted. Some of the work they are doing is taking off cement plaster that was put on top of brick-and-limestone mortar. The cement causes damage by holding in moisture. At the fort there is a derelict lime kiln that needs restoration. The kiln was used to burn coral to make lime for mortar.

Pretty little flowering plants everywhere near the pier. Great place to take Frederiksted pictures.

Great place to picnic, take a stroll and sit and enjoy the many flowers.

Northshore Beaches: Some have smooth sandy bottoms ideal for swimming, and others have rock and coral-lined entries perfect for snorkeling! Many beaches on St. Croix are continuous with other beaches having a different name.

Southside Beaches : The south shore is dotted with so many little beaches that you just happen onto, that is highly unlikely that we have found them all.

East End Beaches : There are many beaches East of Christiansted on St. Croix . Some are a bit harder to get to but usually not as crowded.

West End Beaches : St. Croix offers a large number of beaches and water activities. Try a few for a fun and memorable vacation. All of the beaches in the US Virgin Islands are accessible to the public.
