With shallow water and plenty of shells/ this is a great beach for kids. Tropical landscape offers shade. Rental of snorkeling gear, wind surfers and kayaks etc. make for a more active time. Snorkeling is good as well as the swimming. This East End beach has my vote.  A play set for the kids and a good time for all.

Heard that this East End Beach is a good place for snorkeling. Amongst the sea grass there are lots of shrimp and lobsters to see. There are so many rocks, that we took pictures and enjoyed the view. Please wear your beach shoes, even in the water as I have been told sea urchins abound.

PRETTY AS A PICTURE.

TEAGUE BAY REEF BEACH

Directions: Take Rt. 82

Swimming : Mild surf
Beach side: Sand
Food/Drinks: Nearby restaurant and bar
Water Sports: Yes
Accessibility: Car
Snorkeling:  Yes

Amenities: Picnic tables,

These two East End Beaches are side by side, and it is difficult to tell where one stops and the other starts. Combine the two and you have a long stretch of beach protected by a barrier reef. There is enough surf here for the wind surfers to enjoy the water. It is also popular with East Enders. The water is shallow so snorkeling is particularly good. Enjoy a sea view lunch or dinner at Duggan's Restaurant. Bring a picnic basket with you and grab a sandy spot under a Sea Grape tree. Nice spot to enjoy while others in your group golf. This East End Beach has the Reef Golf Course just across the road.

THINK THAT'S A HERMIT CRAB?

CRAMER PARK

Swimming : Calm
Beach side: Sand
Food/Drinks: Yes
Water Sports Center: No

Cramer Park is a public park. It has plenty of sea grape trees for shade, picnic area, restaurant and bar. This nice East End Beach is a popular hangout for locals particularly on the weekends. The water is calm and shallow, so a perfect place for the little kids to play in the water. It slowly gets deeper so it is easy to teach them snorkeling or practice your own.

TRY A SEA GRAPE.
